I have always found the Analytic Hierarchy Process to be a very interesting technique, but the implementations available have seemed dated or locked away behind paywalls. The goal is to provide a free, modern, easy-to-use implementation of basic AHP, augmented with premium features available to subscribers.
This is a passion project that I have been working on for several years, on and off. I didn't want to launch until the set of basic features was working well. After a few weeks closing in on something releasable, I finally got there. It feels good to throw the doors open and start getting feedback real users.
Free Features
The set of free features available at launch are:
- Hierarchy Builder — a visual interface for constructing your decision model with goals, criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives.
- Pairwise Comparisons — enter judgments using the standard 1-9 scale with an intuitive interface.
- Consistency Checking — automatic consistency ratio calculation with alerts when judgments need review.
- Detailed Results View — see calculated priorities with clear visualisations, including local and global weights.
- Collaboration — participate in decisions that you are invited to.
- 100% Web-Based — nothing to install, accessible from any device with a modern browser.
Premium Features
And, the initial premium features are:
- Invite Collaborators — invite others to participate in your analysis, with the option to grant edit or read-only access to the decision hierarchy and judgments.
- Sensitivity Analysis — explore how changes to criteria weights affect the calculated priorities, and visualise the impact of different weighting scenarios.
